What stays on your device, what is shared when you choose connected features, and how to manage your data.

Local-first data
Kongsi keeps Free Personal and Group working data on your device first. Signing in alone does not upload a local Personal ledger. Device data remains until you erase it, uninstall the App, or replace it through an explicit restore.
OCR and attachments
Receipt text is read on your device. Files leave the device only when you choose a Pro cloud attachment or include them in a Google Drive backup. Cloud attachments are limited to 10 MB each and 1 GB per subscribing owner.
Backup and deleted Group retention
Google Drive backup starts only after you choose it and grant access. When an owner deletes a shared Group, Kongsi keeps its service copy for 60 days, then permanently deletes it. A deleted Group cannot be restored inside Kongsi.
Service providers
Kongsi uses trusted providers for sign-in, shared Groups, backups, notifications, reliability and subscription status. Kongsi has no ads, does not sell personal data, and does not sell subscriptions on the Web.
Data export
Basic CSV remains Free. After signing in, you can download a copy of your account information and account-linked cloud data. Export shared records from their Group. Manage Google Drive backups separately from Backup & restore.

Delete your Kongsi Account in the App or at /account/data. This removes your sign-in and account-linked cloud data. Ledgers on this device and Google Drive backups stay. Shared Group history may remain for other members. Cancel any Google Play subscription separately.

Kongsi uses access controls, private storage and scoped capabilities, but no online service is risk-free. Global processing may cross borders where providers operate. Kongsi is intended for users aged 18 or older. For privacy, access or deletion help, email feedback@kongsisplit.com.
Reports and safety records
A report may include the reason, the relevant Group, content or member, and its review status. Reports are visible only to authorised reviewers and are kept for up to 180 days after they are resolved or dismissed to prevent repeated abuse.
